PayTrain Mastery is an advanced professional development program designed for experienced payroll practitioners. Developed by PayrollOrg (formerly the American Payroll Association), it serves as the primary preparation tool for the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) exam.

While the PayTrain Fundamentals course covers basic processing, Mastery focuses on the complex legislation and strategic management required for payroll leadership.

Note: PayTrain Mastery is generally considered a continuation of the PayTrain Fundamentals course, which is often recommended as a prerequisite to ensure a solid grasp of foundational payroll math.
